Dry, honey, crunchy.
This Vancouver Island estate winery produces some fun still wines along with a couple of sparklers.
The Pinot Gris leans toward peach in colour. The aromas are wild honey, caramel, dried orange blossoms and grilled pears atop forest floor/mushroom notes. The palate is dry and equally earthy; still crunchy orchard fruits, bruised apples and pink grapefruit flavours dominate here.
Pair with fried chicken or creamy mushroom sauces.
